Programs & Services

OUR MISSION

The mission of Mary Hall Freedom Village, Inc. (MHFV) is to empower women, children, veterans, and families to end the cycle of homelessness, addiction, and poverty.

TREATMENT SEVICES

The journey to freedom begins with recognizing the need for help and results with a healthy, drugfree, self-sufficient life. While at MHFV, participants identify the reasons behind their behaviors and traumas that led to addiction. Gaining new tools for recovery to live productively and free. Our purpose is to work with every woman to develop a road map to recovery by providing wraparound services, to include day treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, aftercare, residential treatment, recovery housing, medical and mental healthcare, childcare, career development, and spirituality.

SUPPORTIVE HOUSING

MHFV offers emergency, transitional, and permanent housing, to women, children, veterans, and families on a path to a better life. Our continuum of services enables each participant to identify root causes of barriers to independence.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

The Work 4 Development program is designed to eliminate barriers to employment for women by providing fundamental training and addressing employment requirements. Community partners, faith partners, and volunteers assist in our Vocational instruction and educational programs are provided, as well as an on-site GED (General Equivalency Diploma) Program.

FAMILY & CHILDREN SERVICES

MHFV understands the importance of early intervention to stop the vicious cycle of multigenerational addiction, poverty and homelessness. As a result, we have created an enriching and supportive environment for the children and families. Our program utilizes a unique blend of therapeutic childcare, family education and counseling to make a difference in the lives of our children and families.

Veteran Women and Women with Children

In 2011 Mary Hall Freedom Village partnered with the United States Department Of Veterans Affairs in establishing transitional housing to help homeless veterans become self-sufficient.

Women and Women with Children

MHFV partners with DBHDD in providing recovery services for single women and women with children. By performing an assessment, Mary Hall helps determine the root issues affecting each woman. They are then placed in a program that provides housing, social services, substance abuse and mental health treatment.

Women with Children with Documented Disability in the Family

MHFV partnered with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development in designing permanent housing programs for homeless women and children who are in need of supportive service with mental health. The program is designed to remove the barriers of homelessness to women with disabilities.
